6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Hunter Renfroe blasted his 12th home run of the year Friday propelling the club to a 6-3 win. Renfroe came up with two on and one out in the eighth before yanking the ball over the left field bleachers to break the tie. The 27-year-old's play this season has been streaky hitting his home runs in bunches while struggling to make contact over other stretches of games. His 27.0% K-rate and .230 batting average is less than ideal, but his home run total and 26 RBI are carrying his fantasy value.
