Hunter Renfroe Ends First Half With Two Bangs
5 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Hunter Renfroe collected four hits including two homers in 16 at-bats over the weekend against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 27-year-old slugger continued his breakout season by smashing dingers in consecutive days Friday and Saturday. He had a mere two singles on Sunday. Renfroe has now surpassed his career high with 27 long balls while tallying 99 runs-plus-RBI and slashing .250/.308/.613. Renfroe has proven this season he can handle right-handed pitching with an .851 OPS and with his continued mashing of lefties (1.179 OPS), he’s been rewarded with daily opportunities for the Friars. Looking towards the second half of 2019, he’s a must-own power bat in all fantasy formats.
