6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Hunter Renfroe went 2-for-4 with a double and home run Monday against the New York Mets. A day after crushing a walk-off grand slam, Renfroe took Mets ace Jacob deGrom deep for a solo shot in the fifth inning to give the Friars the decisive run they needed for the victory. Renfroe’s blast was his eighth in only 100 plate appearances and he’s slashing .239/.290/.587 for the season with 28 runs-plus-RBI. While he doesn’t play enough to merit fantasy consideration in standard leagues, he’s a great rotational option in deeper formats. With his power profile, he’ll always be a DFS candidate when he’s in the lineup.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
