Hunter Renfroe Reaches Four Times In Game 3 Win
3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Hunter Renfroe had a major part to play in Sunday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 3, and somehow it wasn't the fact that he reached base four times, going 2-for-4 with two walks and a run scored. It was a controversial defensive play in right field that will be the lasting memory of Renfroe's participation. Regardless of that situation, Renfroe has continued to be a solid contributor, as he has five total hits this postseason and has reached base in each game. He doesn't have an extra-base hit yet, but those should start to come in short order after Renfroe hit 64 this season.
