3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Hunter Renfroe got the job done on both offense and defense Wednesday. He went 2-for-4 at the plate with his 27th homer of the season, a two-run shot that brought the Red Sox from down 1-0 to up 2-1 in the eighth inning. He also ended the game with a jaw-dropping throw to nail Joey Wendle trying to stretch a double into a triple. Fantasy managers don't directly benefit from defensive play, of course, but Renfroe's all-around game keeps him on the field in a potentially potent Boston offense that otherwise could mix and match pieces. He's a fantasy starter the rest of the way.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
