Hunter Renfrow Feeling Confident Under New Coach
2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow believes he will benefit from playing under new head coach Josh McDaniels. The former Clemson Tiger supported the idea by pointing out McDaniels' success with his slot receivers over the years, referencing Wes Welker and Julian Edelman as examples. The 26-year-old finished the regular season by racking up 103 of his 128 targets for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns to earn himself a trip to the Pro Bowl. Nonetheless, despite Davante Adams and Darren Waller likely to command much of Derek Carr's attention this season, there is room for Renfrow to continue to thrive in a new system.
