2 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Hunter Strickland picked up his fourth save of the season in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Cubs. Strickland came in to pitch the ninth inning and preserve a two-run lead. He got the first out on a strikeout, allowed a double, and then got the final two outs on a lineout and a flyout. The 33-year-old has seen the team's last two save opportunities and has not blown a save this season, although he does own an unsightly 4.91 ERA. The Reds have used a number of arms in save situations so far, and it looks like Strickland may be the man of the moment. Fantasy managers should still be wary of Strickland at this time given his overall poor performance.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
