6 years agoSan Francisco Giants closer Hunter Strickland picked up the loss Monday. Strickland entered a tie game in the bottom of the 10th inning. Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado led off the inning with a walk and would eventually score the winning run on a Chris Iannetta single. Strickland walked two hitters in his one-third of an inning. Strickland remains the Giants closer, and the loss shouldn’t have an impact in his role as the team’s closer.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
