Hunter Wood Exits With Elbow Tightness
4 years agoTexas Rangers relief pitcher Hunter Wood (elbow) exited Saturday's game due to right elbow tightness, according to Levi Weaver of The Athletic. Wood recorded two outs and allowed one walk before he left the game with a trainer. He was looking like a potential option in SV/HLD formats, as he had one hold in four appearances while posting a 4.15 ERA with five strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings of work this season. This injury won't affect most managers, but for those looking for solid middle relievers this injury will be a disappointment.
