Hyun-Jin Ryu Does Enough In NLCS Game 2 Victory
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu pitched well enough to keep his team in the game in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Brewers. Ryu pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on six hits (including a solo home run) and no walks with four strikeouts. He left the game with his team down 2-0, but late-innings offense propelled the Dodgers to victory. Ryu's start was obviously not as good as his first 2018 postseason start, but he was able to avoid disaster. He will look to return to his first-game form should he be called on again.
