3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed two runs over five frames as the club's offense came alive to defeat the Indians on Friday. The game was called in the seventh after it rained for most of the contest, but it didn't stop the offense from supporting the veteran for his fifth win in the 11-2 rout. Ryu allowed both runs in the first inning but settled down after that, finishing the game with six strikeouts while surrendering four hits and a pair of walks. He now holds a crisp 2.62 ERA and 1.05 WHIP with 58 punchouts in 58 1/3 IP as he looks ahead to his next matchup versus the Astros.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
