6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed just one earned run, four hits and no walks with six strikeouts across eight innings in a no-decision Wednesday against the San Francisco Giants. He and lefty Madison Bumgarner were locked in a pitcher's duel, which wasn't decided until the ninth inning. Ryu threw 67 of his 107 pitches for strikes in the quality start, throwing 17 first-pitch strikes to the 26 batters he faced and lowering his ERA to 2.55 through 35 1/3 innings across six outings. He is also sporting an impressive 0.91 WHIP while serving as a must-start fantasy option across the board. His next scheduled start is set for Tuesday against the visiting Atlanta Braves.--Daniel Dobish
