4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu stifled the Braves offense over five scoreless frames during Wednesday's 2-1 victory. He allowed just one hit and three walks while striking out eight in the 84-pitch effort. After signing a four-year deal with the Jays this offseason, Ryu wasn't living up to expectations after allowing eight runs over his first nine innings pitched this season. It was a nice bounce-back outing for the veteran southpaw who regained some velocity on his fastball and may have found his groove with his new club.
