4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed one run over five frames during the team’s 2-1 loss to the Rays on Saturday. The lefty surrendered three hits and struck out six with no free passes issued, lowering his ERA and WHIP to 3.19 and 1.03, respectively. Ryu has now allowed one run or fewer in four-straight contests as he’s starting to live up to the contract that labelled him as the ace of the staff.
