4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu couldn't get through five frames in the team's 6-4 loss to the Nationals on Thursday. The veteran allowed five runs over 4 1/3 while surrendering nine hits and walk with five punchouts in the loss. Ryu hasn't been sharp in his first two contests in his new uniform as he's allowed eight runs in nine innings and has also dropped two ticks on his fastball velocity from last season. With the Jays off this weekend, Ryu will likely get his next start against the Braves next week.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
