4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu was excellent in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Braves, limiting the team to one run over seven innings. The lefty struck out six while allowing five hits and a walk with the only damage coming off of a William Contreras home run in the fifth. Ryu is making fantasy managers happy with a sterling 2.95 ERA and 1.06 WHIP through 39 2/3 IP on the year despite striking out less than a batter per inning (32 K). He'll look to keep his strong start to the season going in his next scheduled matchup at home versus a daunting Red Sox lineup.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
