2 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu (forearm) is expected to miss significant time with his forearm injury. The Blue Jays are currently gathering multiple opinion's on Ryu's injury while he's on the injured list. The 35-year-old left-hander will visit with Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Thursday, but fantasy managers shouldn't be expecting Ryu back anytime soon. Ryu was 2-0 on the year before his injury, but he had an uninspiring 5.33 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 16 strikeouts and four walks in 27 innings over his first six starts. For now, there's no timetable for when Ryu will return to the Jays rotation, but it's unlikely to come until after the All-Star break.
