3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Ian Anderson, who posted his second straight quality start on Thursday, has a one-week start coming up, but his matchup on the road against the last-place Pittsburgh Pirates is a favorable one. The 23-year-old right-hander allowed two earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out a pair over seven innings against the Mets, though he didn't factor into the decision when the bullpen blew a lead. Anderson is 5-4 on the season with a 3.35 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP over 88 2/3 innings. He is far from a must-start, but he makes for a decent option next week for fantasy managers thin on pitching.--Josh Friedman
