2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Ian Anderson was superb on Saturday as he allowed just one hit over six-scoreless frames in his club's 6-2 win over the Diamondbacks. The victory took his record to 9-6 on the season as he struck out nine batters in the contest while issuing just one free pass in the 97-pitch outing. It was the first time the right-hander lasted six innings since a June 19 start and a nice bounce back contest after he gave up seven runs over three innings last weekend. Anderson will take an underwhelming 4.99 ERA and 1.50 WHIP into his next start versus the division-rival Mets.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
