3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Ian Anderson (toe) left his appearance as a precaution in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Tampa Bay Rays with a blister on his right big toe. Anderson is scheduled to start his first game of the regular season this Sunday against the Cincinnati Reds, but it remains to be seen if the blister issue will cause him to be skipped in the rotation. The 23-year-old should be able to make his first start of the season this weekend, but it makes him a little bit more risky as a DFS play, as he might have his pitch count limited to kick things off. Anderson was solid for the Braves and fantasy managers in 2021, going 9-5 with a 3.58 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, 124 strikeouts and 53 walks in 24 starts in his second big-league season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
