3 years agoAtlanta Braves right-hander Ian Anderson has pitched to a 6.48 ERA and a 4.85 FIP in his first two starts this season. It's a small sample early, but Anderson has thrown just 8.1 innings so far. He's collected eight strikeouts and six walks on the season. It's very much been a tale of two starts for the 23-year-old. Anderson gave up five walks, five earned runs, and three hits against just one strike in 2.2 innings in his first start of the season against the Cincinnati Reds. In his next outing six days later against the San Diego Padres, the right-hander struck out seven batters over 5.2 frames while giving up just two hits, a solo home run, and a walk.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
