3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Ian Anderson (shoulder) is set to make one more rehab start before returning to action, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. Anderson has been out since the All-Star break due to shoulder inflammation, after going 5-5 with a 3.56 ERA, 1.250 WHIP and 24.3 percent strikeout rate across 96 innings pitched. Braves general manager Alex Anthopoulos said that if things go well for Anderson in this next start, the team will plan to slot him back into their rotation soon after. Managers should keep an eye out for further updates, but be prepared for him to make his return sometime next week.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
