Ian Happ Has Begun To Warm Up
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's victory versus the Cincinnati Reds. Happ hit a pair of singles and crushed a solo home run off of Vladimir Gutierrez in the top of the sixth inning that would wind up being the game winning run. Happ has been have a rough season at the plate, but he is now hitting .280 with two home runs and five RBI over his last seven games. Happ will be getting plenty of playing time down the stretch for the Cubs, but is only an option in the deepest of leagues at the moment. For the season, Happ is hitting .186 with 13 home runs and 33 RBI.
