Ian Happ Hits Ninth Home Run
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's loss versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Happ has really struggled this season and was recently demoted from the starting lineup by manager David Ross. With first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back) banged up, Happ was called upon for the start and delivered. Despite the nice performance on Monday, Happ has been a major disappointment this season for managers. The outfielder does have nine home runs and 21 RBI, but he hasn't offered much outside of power with a weak .190 batting average. Happ is worth keeping an eye on, but should be on the waiver wire in most formats.
