Ian Happ Isn't Starting On Friday
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ will be on the bench to begin Friday's contest against the Chicago White Sox and left-handed starter Dallas Keuchel. Happ is batting just .198 with a .301 on-base percentage, 15 home runs, and two stolen bases in 397 plate appearances this season. That being said, he's been much more effective lately, hitting .357 with a .426 on-base percentage, four home runs, and a stolen base in his last 47 plate appearances. Patrick Wisdom is moving to left field in Happ's place with Matt Duffy taking over at third base. Considering Wisdom starts most games for the Cubs, this is essentially Duffy replacing Happ in the lineup. The 30-year-old, who is batting fourth against Keuchel, is hitting .260 with a .337 on-base percentage, one home run, and four stolen bases in 199 plate appearances this season. Fantasy managers are probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help on Friday.
