6 years agoLos Angeles Angels second baseman Ian Kinsler (groin) was placed on the 10-day DL, retroactive to March 30. Angels General Manager hopes it will only be a minimum stay for the veteran second baseman. In his stead, Luis Valbuena will man third base and Zack Cozart will slide over to second base and bat leadoff. The Angels recalled Nolan Fontana from Triple-A for infield depth, although he is unlikely to see much action in Kinsler's absence.--patton
