6 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Ian Kinsler is batting seventh on Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners. Despite a horrific start to 2019, Padres manager Andy Green continues penciling the 36-year-old veteran into the lineup card. While sporting the major's seventh-worst WAR, Kinsler is fifth on the team with 73 plate appearances. With the recent demotion of rookie infielder Luis Urias, Green appears to be sticking with Kinsler.
