4 years agoCarolina Panthers tight end Ian Thomas gets a good matchup in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay struggled against tight ends in 2019 and allowed five catches for 80 yards to Saints tight end Jared Cook in Week 1. Unfortunately for Thomas, he only saw two targets against a beatable Raiders defense in Week 1 and didn't do much with them. It's certainly possible that Thomas is more involved in the offense and finds the end zone against the Buccaneers, but it's entirely alright if this occurs while he's on the bench or the waiver wire. He'll need to win in this matchup to prove himself for fantasy purposes.--Tim Capurso
