2 years agoCarolina Panthers tight end Ian Thomas (ankle) has been sidelined at practices this week after getting kicked in practice last week. Thomas is dealing with a high ankle issue, according to head coach Matt Rhule. The 26-year-old should be ready to return for training camp next month, but we'll continue to keep an eye on him. The former fourth-rounder hasn't made much of an impact as a pass-catcher in his four seasons in Carolina. His best year was his rookie season in 2018, when he had 36 receptions on 49 targets for 333 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games (six starts).
