7 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki (calf) was pulled early from the Cactus League game on Wednesday with a tight right calf. As if you needed another reason to dislike Suzuki as he enters his age-44 season, he's unlikely to hold up to regular playing time as he returns to his former team. There is a chance that Suzuki could see regular playing time in the outfield to start the year with Ben Gamel injured, but the Japanese star hit just .255 with three homers and 20 RBI in 196 at-bats with the Fish in 2017. Suzuki may be a late flier in deep AL-only leagues, but nothing else.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
