4 years agoNew York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin is the team's starter in Friday's clash with the Penguins. Alexandar Georgiev started two games on the bounce, but head coach David Quinn goes back to Shesterkin now. The 25-year-old Russian had a very impressive run in the team last season with 10 wins in 12 regular-season appearances, but he started 2020-21 with a big loss vs. the Islanders, giving up four goals on 33 shots.
