3 years agoNew York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin was first off the ice this morning, which leads many to believe he will start Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens. Shesterkin is 7-2-2 on the season with a 2.46 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage. That includes one shutout and eight quality starts on the season. The Russian goaltender has emerged as an early Vezina Trophy candidate. He appears to have shown no ill-effects from the bump to the head he received last week.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
