5 years agoLos Angeles Kings left wing Ilya Kovalchuk and defenseman Drew Doughty both produced three points in Tuesday's 4-3 shock win at Calgary. Kovalchuk put the team 3-0 up at the start of the second period and picked up two assists, while Doughty scored the game-winner on a power-play after also recording a pair of helpers. Sean Walker and Tyler Toffoli, who had two points, also scored for the Kings. Jack Campbell finished his season debut in goal with 26 saves. The Kings were expected to have another tough season, with them lacking quality upfront, but they have scored nine goals through two games. Kovalchuk and Doughty lead the team in points with four alongside Anze Kopitar.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
