3 years agoAccording to Bernie Pleskoff, the Cleveland Indians have agreed to a minor league deal with catcher Wilson Ramos. Ramos was DFA'd by the Detroit Tigers on June 20th and has agreed to a minor league deal with the Cleveland Indians. He was having a rough season as he was slashing just .200/.238/.392 with six home runs and 13 RBI through his first 120 at-bats before a back injury landed him on the IL. He will likely get an opportunity on the big league squad at some point, but only as a backup to Roberto Perez, and therefore, has very little fantasy value at this point.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
