Initial X-Rays Come Back Negative For Nick Castellanos
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos (wrist) underwent X-rays, which came back negative after being hit by a pitch in the wrist during Thursday's game against the New York Mets. He was diagnosed with a bruised right wrist. The 30-year-old will be re-evaluated on Friday and is day-to-day. He went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run before leaving. Roman Quinn replaced Castellanos in Thursday's contest and would see an uptick in playing time if the Phillies outfielder misses any time.
