3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton will have the daunting task of starting his Bears career against the Rams on Sunday Night Football in Week 1. After much hand-wringing by the Bears fan base, the coaching staff is sticking with Dalton as the starter while tantalizing rookie Justin Fields waits in the wings. Now Dalton will have a very tough task Week 1 against a Rams defense that allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing passers last season. The Rams allowed only one 300-plus-yard passer last season and surrendered only three passing touchdowns over their final five games. Dalton is limited offensively to begin with and will play behind a patch work offensive live. The veteran passer is not worth the fantasy gamble to kick off the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
