Is Trevor Bauer's Career Over?
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Trevor Bauer was hit with a two-year suspension by Major League Baseball for violating the league's sexual-assault and domestic-violence policy, and many people think he will never pitch again at the big-league level. "No one wants to stand up there next to him," one long-time baseball person said. The Dodgers may cut him, even if his suspension is reduced to the point where there's still time left on his deal with LA. There's no guarantee that his 324-game ban will be upheld, and Bauer doesn't think he did anything wrong. If Bauer's ban is upheld, the Dodgers would save the full $65 million on his contract. The 31-year-old right-hander can obviously be dropped in all fantasy leagues for the 2022 campaign.
