Isaiah Spiller Battles Abductor Injury During Combine Workouts
3 years agoFormer Texas A&M Aggies running back Isaiah Spiller (hip) was able to participate during drills at this week's NFL combine, but per his agent, he did so while battling a strained abductor muscle. Spiller compiled nearly 3,000 yards rushing across three seasons at Texas A&M, having been named first-team All-SEC in 2020. In hopes of further boosting his draft stock, Spiller is set to run at the Aggies Pro Day, which is scheduled for March 22. Two running backs were selected in the first round of last year's NFL draft, with just four backs coming off the board across the first three rounds. Spiller is set to be among that class this year and could be a season-long fantasy league contributor out of the gates, depending on where he lands.
