2 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa isn't in the starting lineup for Thursday's contest against the Toronto Blue Jays. The absence is not injury related. Rather, Kiner-Falefa gets a day off after starting nine consecutive games and producing subpar numbers during that span. Rookie infielder Oswaldo Cabrera, who made his MLB debut at third base on Wednesday, will shift to shortstop and bat seventh on Thursday. Kiner-Falefa is slashing .267/.316/.319 with 36 RBI, 23 walks, 55 strikeouts, and 15 stolen bases with his new club in 2022.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
