3 years agoTexas Rangers infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa is expected to open the season as the starting third baseman. Over the offseason, the Rangers overhauled their infield by adding Corey Seager and Marcus Semien. That being said, Kiner-Falefa was expected to compete for the starting third base job. However, top prospect Josh Jung (shoulder) is going to miss multiple weeks, which means Kiner-Falefa will begin the season as the starter. Last season, Kiner-Falefa slashed .271/.312/.357 with eight home runs, 53 RBI, and a career-high 20 stolen bases. His fantasy value is on the rise after last season and he should continue to gain value, assuming he remains the starter at third base.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
