3 years agoOne of the hottest lightweights in the world, Islam Makhachev continued his impressive run by securing a first-round submission win via kimura against Dan Hooker on Saturday. On a run since 2015, Makhachev landed only two significant strikes (13 total strikes) in 2:25 of action, but he scored the only takedown he needed to eventually lock in the submission.
