With that being said, he can take one step closer to obtaining that goal of championship aspirations when he battles Bobby Green in Saturday night's main event. Since his first-round knockout loss in October of 2015, Makhachev has gone 9-0 in the UFC, with five of those bouts ending in a finish. His last three victories in a row have all come by submission.
