4 years agoWhen it comes to the middleweight division, there is one clear-cut top fighter, and that is middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. Back at his normal weight class, Adesanya dominated Marvin Vettori on Saturday for five rounds, taking a unanimous decision (50-45 on all three scorecards). Adesanya out-landed Vettori when it came to significant strikes, landing 96 compared to the 58 landed by Vettori. Adesanya's takedown-stuffing game looked good as well, stopping 10 of Vettori's 14 tries.
