6 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov picked up two assists with a plus-two rating, three shots on goal and four blocked shots over 23:24 of ice time in Saturday's 5-2 victory against the New Jersey Devils. Occasionally the rearguard will chip in with some offense, but his real value to fantasy owners is his work in the hits and blocked shots departments. He has managed three assists with 13 hits and 16 blocked shots through eight games so far. Provorov had a breakout campaign in 2017-18 with 17 goals, 41 points, a plus-17 rating, 148 hits and 169 blocked shots in an 82-game campaign.--Daniel Dobish
