4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher J.A. Happ didn't factor into the decision for the first time since April 13. Happ pitched 5 1/3 innings of one-run ball, surrendering four hits and a walk while striking out a trio of hitters. The 38-year-old southpaw was a bit disappointing coming off of back-to-back seven-inning masterpieces, though he still pitched well enough to be deserving of a victory. Happ has never been much of a bat-misser, but his 3.74 expected ERA suggests that he could be in line for more victories and quality starts as a back-end starter for the Twins in 2021.--Tim Capurso
