6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher J.A. Happ wasn’t perfect in Wednesday’s win over the Atlanta Braves, but to satisfy fantasy owners he was back to his strikeout-happy ways. In the 5-4 victory, Happ allowed four earned runs on six hits without a walk across 8 1/3 innings pitched, striking out eight on the afternoon. The eight punchouts were a great sign after he had only fanned seven combined over his last two starts, a very un-Happ like thing to occur. Happ’s string of difficult matchups continues when he takes on the Astros in Houston on Monday. You should likely still be starting him in that one.--John Smith
