J.A. Happ To Start Doubleheader Game Wednesday
4 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone announced that starting pitcher J.A. Happ will get the nod for one of the team's games versus the Phillies on Wednesday. The southpaw has made just one start this season, and he didn't look particularly sharp, allowing four runs in four innings to the Orioles. He also served up a pair of homers while walking two and striking out a pair in the 69-pitch effort. It'll be a revenge game of sorts for Happ, who pitched for the club from 2007-2010, but he's not a recommended fantasy option since he's still working his arm into midseason form.
