J.C. Jackson Heading In The Right Direction
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers cornerback J.C. Jackson (ankle) was upgraded to limited in Tuesday's practice estimation, which is a step forward after he was inactive in the Week 1 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. "He's headed in the right direction, but...still a lot to be decided before game time on Thursday night," head coach Brandon Staley said. The 26-year-old will test his injury in Wednesday's practice, but there's a good chance that Jackson will still be listed as questionable for the Week 2 showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night. The Bolts secondary could surely use Jackson's talents against quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who threw five touchdowns in the Week 1 drubbing of the Arizona Cardinals.
