5 years agoNew York Mets infielder/outfielder J.D. Davis (shoulder) is ahead of schedule in his return from a jammed left shoulder. Davis has already been participating in baseball activities, including hitting in the batting cage. Barring a setback, it does not appear this injury will delay Davis for Opening Day. The Mets seem intent on getting Davis into the lineup as much as possible during the season. As such, Davis is a prime breakout candidate for 2020.
