4 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis (hand), currently on the 10-day injured list, may be activated either Saturday or Sunday, according to manager Luis Rojas. Davis sprained his hand on a swing he took in his final at-bat against the Phillies on May 2. Davis already spent time on the injured list earlier this season due to a hand contusion. Over just 41 at-bats in 2021, Davis has posted a .390/.479/.610 slash line with two home runs and seven RBI.
